You're invited!

What? Create one dialogue on abortion with one person for one hour. It's the first CGANA event!

YOU'RE INVITED!!

IN A SENTENCE
Create ONE conversation with ONE person for ONE hour in ONE of many cities during the week of July 13, using ideas from the book, Common Ground Without Compromise: 25 Questions to Create Dialogue on Abortion

THE BIG IDEA
Create real dialogue about abortion by using genuine common ground to help us discuss our disagreements.

GOAL #1
At least ONE meaningful dialogue between a pro-choice advocate and a pro-life advocate in EACH of the 50 UNITED STATES and 10 CANADIAN PROVINCES during the week of July 13-20. (If we get people from the TERRITORIES in Canada, all the better!)

GOAL #2
A TOTAL of 500 CONVERSATIONS between pro-LIFE and pro-CHOICE advocates throughout the United States and Canada during July 13-20.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

In the comments section of this post, share your first name and city to signify that you plan to participate. To receive an official Facebook invitation, send an email to commongroundwc at gmail.
Purchase two copies of the book Common Ground Without Compromise: 25 Questions to Create Dialogue on Abortion by Stephen Wagner (~$25). See http://www.STR.org/CommonGround for more information about the book (including free excerpts you can download). You can purchase the book at the links below.
Send one to someone you know who disagrees with you on abortion in some significant way.
Invite him or her to join you for an hour of dialogue based on the book during the week of July 13 and July 20 (meet at a coffee shop, in a park, or some other place...if you find a truly unique place for dialogue, take a picture and share it afterwards!)
Share the story of how the conversation went in the comments section of a blog post on this site or by emailing commongroundwc at gmail.

NOTE: Dialogue can be initiated by a pro-life or a pro-choice advocate.
